Sichuan Boyao Auto Parts Co., Ltd. provides the original purchaser of custom forged wheels with 5 years of limited structural coverage and 1 year of limited surface finish protection, effective from confirmed delivery date.
Structural Limited Warranty
Valid for 5 years from confirmed carrier delivery date
What is Covered: Verified structural cracking, material fracture, rim split, or metallurgical defects arising from the aerospace 6061-T6 forging or CNC milling process under normal road operation within the approved axle load rating.
Remedy: BOYAO will, at its discretion, repair the defective wheel or produce an exact CNC replacement wheel matched to the original engineering drawing archive.
Finish Limited Warranty
Valid for 1 year from confirmed carrier delivery date
What is Covered: Verified clearcoat peeling, clearcoat blistering, or electrostatic powder-coat delamination resulting from factory surface preparation or curing defects under normal manufacturer care.
Remedy: Professional factory refinishing or replacement of the affected wheel surface to original factory standards.
Standard Exclusions & Non-Covered Conditions
Forged wheels are engineered to withstand extreme driving forces, but physical impacts, chemicals, and unauthorized modifications compromise structural integrity. The following scenarios are explicitly excluded from warranty claims:
01. Impact & Road Hazards
Curb rash, pothole impact bends, collision fractures, off-road boulder damage, or tire-mounting machine gouges.
02. Overloading & Misuse
Operating vehicles beyond disclosed axle load ratings, commercial cargo overloading, or undisclosed competitive track racing.
03. Chemical Corrosion
Damage caused by harsh acidic/alkaline wheel acid cleaners, unwashed winter road salt crusts, or automatic car wash brushes.
04. Unauthorized Alterations
Local re-drilling of bolt circles, hub-bore boring, spoke machining, heat-treating, welding, or third-party disassembly of 2P/3P modular wheels.
05. Improper Hardware & Torque
Use of incorrect lug seat taper (e.g. ball seat on 60° conical), improper lug bolt length, over-torquing with impact guns, or loose lug nuts.
06. Transit Shipping Claims
Damage incurred during international ocean/air shipping is governed by carrier transport insurance and must be documented upon delivery receipt.
How to Submit a Warranty Review
Every warranty claim follows an auditable technical assessment against the original CAD blueprint and serial number archive.
Register & Locate Order
Provide the original order number, invoice, vehicle VIN, and delivery receipt so BOYAO can retrieve the master engineering drawing and material batch.
Preserve Physical Evidence
Do not attempt local unauthorized welding, machining, or chemical stripping. Take clear overview and macro photos of the affected wheel area.
Engineering Assessment
Our quality engineers examine the photos, runout data, or physical return to verify whether the root cause is manufacturing or impact related.
Remedy & Dispatch
For approved claims, BOYAO manufactures a matched replacement wheel or authorized repair, dispatching via priority courier with tracking.
